Road is now foloded for the 100 meters either way of me. People across the road have had their houses flooded.
There was a BIG fat thunderbolt that landed about 50 meters away in the field. I'm going to see what ligntinged ground looks like.

You're knowledge is accurate although I don't actually live in Hull, just a couple of miles out. Hull is also one of England's biggest dumps. Ironically, the houses here are amongst the most expensive in England but I've lived in this house since it was cheap. Footballer Nicky Barmby lives in my area as does the billionaire owner of MeadowHall. Unfortunately, I am not rich. Perhaps I will burgle that guy's house....
