Biggest thunderstorm I've ever experienced.

Road is now foloded for the 100 meters either way of me. People across the road have had their houses flooded.

There was a BIG fat thunderbolt that landed about 50 meters away in the field. I'm going to see what ligntinged ground looks like.

I've got the dogs.

Time for a big wet walk!

Yep, and considering I live near you we must have experienced the same storm.

I was about to come on here and make a post when BOOM! The smoke alarm beeped, my ADSL line couldn't connect and any hardware that was connected to my computer shorted briefly- glad my iPod wasn't connected! :S

Christ! Are you serious? Here in London, it looks foreboding but no sign of rain yet...

My house is right beside a woodland area. About 4 years ago during a thunderstorm lightening struck a couple of trees and just cut them in half.

Really cool to see them as they look really odd.

Both live in Kent. I'm to the West and he's to the North-East.

But it's still close enough to experience the same strom, before anyone gets all cocky.
