I'm having a bit of trouble trying to beat the Lynx with the 3rd Valuan person Belleza. I only have one erson who can use their magic during the battle and I only have 1 Repair kit, I only once managed to get to use the Harpoon cannon but when I went to attack her and finish her off the next turn I was beat. I am at level 15-16 with Aika and Vyse and Fina and 14 with Drachman.

No you don't, you can fight him any time after Yafutoma, but your rating (Which you can't actually see) must be Daring or higher. It just depends how much you boosts you get from choosing the right thing to say (A tingle can be heard when you choose it) and how often you run from battles.

No you don't, you can fight him any time after Yafutoma, but your rating (Which you can't actually see) must be Daring or higher. It just depends how much you boosts you get from choosing the right thing to say (A tingle can be heard when you choose it) and how often you run from battles.
Last night it took me over 1 and a half hours to defeat the end of game boss, well actually there are 3 stages of the boss that you have to go through:
1) Ramirez, arena hand to hand combat
2) Zelos (silver gigas), ship battle
3) Shadow Ramirez, Ship Deck hand to hand combat
I can't remmeber how long the first boss took me but the other two combined took about an hour, but by the third battle I was pretty confident that I was going to win. I would recomend before you go into Solitis to buy AT LEAST 100 Sacrum crystals and 20 Sacrulean crystals, and about 20 Reselm crystals.
For the first Ramirez battle the only attack you have to worry about is his own version of Lunar Blessing and I think his Ice special attack.
The Gigas you only have to worry about his Moon ray, but then once he transforms (like Cupil) his Great Moon Ray is the priority, the moon ray and great moon ray only do about 15,000 damage, which isn't too bad. To actually kill him he has around 120,000HP I think. about 3 Moon Stone cannons will do along with some fire power to go with it throughout the battle.
Shadow Ramirez is almost like his frst self, but the only attack you have to worry about is Lunar Nightmare, which takes control of one of your characters and uses one of their Special attacks (don't worry it doesn't take off your own SP meter), but the only one you have to worry about being used is Vyse and his Piates Wrathe, but the attack doesn't always go for his best attack coz I had Vyse use Cutlass fury more time than he's used PW. But the secon likely target of the attack is Gilder and his Gunslinger attack, but don't worry too much about this.
I estimate that Shadow Ramirez has about 200,000 HP, but I recommend saving up for Prophecy about 3 times to finish him off for good.

Yes! I know when you get to face Vize! You have to be ready to attack Soltis through Skrine Island, but before you do go to Nasrad and find them up the steps on the right hands side of the main town. You should take out Fiana first coz of her magic attacks then the other two in any order, but it will take quite a while, do not use Prophecy until you have taken out Fiana, coz you will need all the MP you'll need to couteract her attacks.
Grr he wont come out beat that Elcian in the Dark Rift though.
I found this weird Island filled with Birds in upper sky, it's just above the widest part of the Dark rift, it has this crazy old guy dressed in a bird suit that tells you some statistics of how well you are in his eyes about battling techniques and Treasure hunting skills.
Still no Vize, and I'm almost finished with the game (well still got a long way to go but it's nearish to the end).

I only need 2 more bounties to get, Vize and those two b!tches he has, and also the King Zivylin Bane which I have no idea where to find.
I am quite pleased that I have killed 4 of the Gigas' so far out of the 5 I've encountered quite an accomplishment. (Rhaknam I killed with the harpoon cannon, and the green one is under the water in that canyon).

The yellow Gigas isn't awake it was in a forced state of Slumber until someone breaks the seal or cheats his way in underneath. If he was awake he would have already destroyed the seal long ago.

im just going into the tunnels now underneath valua. this could get interesting as the yellow giga is apparently already awake! it was good seeing drachma again. Im getting really annoyed with everybody calling me a theif and a non respectable black pirate, i cant wait to kick those phoneys in the as*hole!
