I'm having a bit of trouble trying to beat the Lynx with the 3rd Valuan person Belleza. I only have one erson who can use their magic during the battle and I only have 1 Repair kit, I only once managed to get to use the Harpoon cannon but when I went to attack her and finish her off the next turn I was beat. I am at level 15-16 with Aika and Vyse and Fina and 14 with Drachman.

Just checked Mav's stats and there is no guide there. Are you sure you aren't mixing him up?

Hey, Mav, a quick question. If you've never played this game before (presumably since you ddn't know how to get back onto the boat) how did you make an original moonfish guide? or did you copy it from somewhere?
Ok, I'll give it a go.
The camera on that bit isn't the most forgiving as you can't really see where the ship is. If you just press left on the control pad until you are pressing against the far screen and then press A and it will bring up the options. Select leave or stay depending on what you want to do.
That didn't seem to work when I first tried. Any specific place you have to stand?
Press A when next to it.
