"Gameboy player."

Anyone got it? How do you feel about it? Is the multiplayer up to the standards you thuoght it would be? Any tips on how to get the best out of it (put a game in obviously!)?

Just got one, and I want to know how well it has been received. :)

I poped into my local Independant Games Retailer and they said they have ever heard of a Game Boy Player. Pffff

I bought one off ebay a couple of weeks ago, out of interest Dr Duck how long did play-asia.com take to deliver ? and which delivery service did you use ?

I must admit I'n never heard a bad word said against them or lik-sang.com who are also very good.

Not been to any gaming shops of late, but the online places seem to be very quiet on the GBP itself.

However, the pad is made by a company called Hori, with Ninty's support, who I guess might not release it here, though it'd still be a bit of a surprise.

Got mine already, for about £15 delivered from play-asia, who I love (long time).

See your poitn Nat, while your here in Ninty land, completely off subject, I have heard from a good source that Souness will be the new Spurs manager before next season, I work for a local paper and the West Ham staff told us about 4 weeks ago, there have been a few rumours in the press also so we'll have to wait and see.

Those were the days.

I have no spare money these days, but I'm tempted to find some for a player and bubble bobble.

But they appear all stretched and stuff. The games are made to be displayed on the 2" screen at the resolution the GBA is. I really think it's a stupid idea. Like try playing the games on the Visual Boy Advance on your PC, then make the screen size bigger. Looks crappy. Sorry :P

but why settle for a 2" screen when I can it on a 32" one ?, also games like Iridion 2 are very dark on my GBA (not SP) even with a light and magnifier, will be getting a Player at the weekend :)
