what do people think of x-boxes chances

It seems that there are a lot of people that are going to "See how it does" and not buy it for about a year or so, but because of this the machine won't do as well as if everyone was to buy it straight away.

i for one hope the x box does really well cos that's the next console i plan to buy (well not until WELL after it's release cos i wanna see how it does and also i'll be temporarily bankrupt with all the great games coming out the end of this year until summer for the ps2).....
