I think it was around 1992. I bought Championship Manager for the Amiga. As Goatboy states, it was when the Sawbridgeworth shop was the only SR shop; Same building, different part.

Those were the days......

Iv'e never been to Special Reserve, too far away for me but the first thing I ever brought from them was Mission Impossible on the Nintendo 64, I brought it before it was out so it reached me on the day after it's release.

It was about 1990, I was at college.
Bought Lotus Turbo Challenge for The Amiga.

Little corner room in the same building they're in now, metal shelves and stuff.

Excellent.

The first thing I bought from SR was a pair of 4MB RAM SIMMs ( I think SIMMs anyway).

I had to upgrade my computer to play Geoff Crammonds GP2 which I got as a free gift for subscribing to PCZone. It needed a whopping 16MB RAM to run, and my dads PC only had 8.

Those were the days....

Hang on, no they weren't! It cost me about £60 for 8MB of RAM!!

I think the first game I bought was either Super Monaco Grand Prix or Sonic 2. I can't remember the first time I went to an SR shop. It must have been about 5 years ago.
