No the speed of the games and level design changes the effectiveness of mines. Mines are more useful in PD.

I must've had a good expansion pack or something. Seriously I only had problems in the big factory cube room with 4 players and 7/8 bots.

I was talking about the stats. I'm more interested in comparing my stats to my friends on RF2 than TS2.

As I said arcade-wise TS2 is good. The bots are the REAL let down, they just have no brains.

Yes good, however the PD's gameplay makes this largely irrelevent if RF2 had a level designer I would still prefer PD.

Yes, but I buy my games for the multi. The single player game in TS2 holds much less reply value for me than PD. PD's first level is so much fun to come back to, much like Goldeneye's Dam level.

I never really disputed that. 4 player TS2 multi really re-opened my eyes to the game. However the bots will alway suck.

One player mabye. But I still love my 2 team wars with the bots. Absolutely excellent, everyone should try those settings.

Now back to the point of this thread.

Again if you insist.

I disagree with the headshots in PD... I found them hardly surprising.

You cannot tell that to a Nintendo fan.

I gathered that... I like my Timesplitters to subrealism.

But that is down to the style of game... Goldeneye is James Bond.. a secret agent.. it isn't the same with Timesplitters... bar the firs siberia level.

Mines are mines... are you on drugs?

Annoyed me every time i accidentaly made it come up.

What game are you playing... the major problem with the massive multplayer games were the MAJOR slow down the game suffered.

Red Faction cannot be compared to TS2... you really must be insane if you think it can.

For starters there is no TS3 i don't thinl... secondly I agree okay I think Perfect Dark is better than Timesplitters... PD had me playing far longer and far more in depth than the rather shallow TS2. But I found TS2 stunningly good in all aspects of the gameplay and it is far closer to PD's greatness than you seem to claim.
Oh and if you're going to point out the modes PD has over TS2 then that is hardly fair... they both have their different modes... such as TS2's level editor, more imaginitive scenery.
The themed worlds also is different over PD, the concept of a wild west level was great as was the secret agent level, the goldeneye level, the gangster level... the medievil level. All these levels added a massive variety in the game unlike PD.
But I never said TS2 was better... PD is superior... but TS2 is bloody damn good and close to the magic of PD.
And Whitestripes is right Goldeneye beats them all because of the simple narrative of the game.

I was invincible on Complex with a Grenade Launcher. I won a local competition and everything.
> Were you playing it on the xbox by any chance?
I have the PC version and I did buy the Xbox version only to take it back the next day. Graphically the Xbox version was much stronger but they both end up being pretty pants after about 10 minutes.
Nothing can beat the Dostevel.
