So, 4am, English_Bloke’s alarm goes off. 5am, he heads to his local fishing lake with it spitting lightly with rain. 6am, English_Bloke hooks a Tench, so the rain doesn’t seem that bad. 6.20am, the rain gets a little harder. 7am, English_Bloke gets frustrated at the fact he is only getting really twitchy bites. 8am, English_Bloke catches a Bream, all is well again, in fact, he did his happy dance. 8.01am, God must have found English_Bloke’s happy dance pant wetingly funny, as it starts to pi*s it down. 9am, realizing his shivering is so violent that he is probably scaring the fish away, English_Bloke admits defeat to the weather and sods of home.

9.30am, English_Bloke starts looking into the symptoms of pneumonia and is concerned to see one of the symptoms is to constantly refer to one’s self in the third person perspective.

It was spitting when I left, so I thought I would chance it. I haven't been in ages and am running out of time to go.

4 AM!! You got up at 4 am to go fishing and didn't look out of the window and say to yourself "sod it - I'm off back to bed".

That's either dedication or madness and I'm voting for the latter.
