"Work experience..."

Is anyone else starting work experience on monday, i am, im doing for 2 weeks and i am working in an office imputing data into a computer, filing, faxing ECT...
if anyone else is doing it what are you doing...
I really aint looking forward to doing mine, i have to dress smart, which means i have to go and buy some smart clothes on saturday, and to get there is about 40 walk...

Quit moaning.

It wouldnt bother me so much if i was getting paid, that then a real experience...
But at the moment it is just slave labour...

I did that in a building society for my 2 weeks.

The only way to get REAl work exp is to get a real job that pays you. Then you can't get bored as you have to be doing something to get paid.

yeh loads of people quit when my school done it

everyone a better one than me,i did it bout 6 weeks ago in a picture frame shop.
think of how boring that sounds and multiply by 10 and thats how boring it actually was

I'm at a gas terminal doing admin work, a bit of maintenance, some electrical work and mechanical work. My first day was really great! I was playing around with the valves and stuffon the computers, and one broke and I had to go out with the maintenance bloke to help fix it.

Sad to hear it was horrible, but stapling stuff all day isn't too bad. At least they didn't make you do coffee rounds all day. That would have been much worse! Surely the time flew having something to do all day? Don't quit though, first days are always horrible. If everyone quit after one horrible day, no one would be in a job anymore.
