Yikes!!

i believe its random. If you notice each image appears about 8 times or so. Also it might track your mouse movement and if the mouse hovers over a certain symbol long enough it will change. Not sure though.

Indeed - 9 is the magic number.

Multiply it by any number, and the individual digits of the answer always add up to 9.

i.e. 7 x 9 = 63 ... 6 + 3 = 9
