Looking through new DVD's at UKDVD.com, it says that Transformers the Movie has been cancelled in the released date bit!

Don't panic Grix. Do a search for 'transformers' on ukdvd.com and you'll get 2 results.
One does indeed say it's cancelled but the other has a longer description and is stll up for pre-order (the date of 22/10 is still there so that's probably wrong).
The extra features list is still...
* Japanese 'Headmasters' Episode
* Commentary
* Original Trailer
* 'The Touch' Music Video
* Isolated Music Soundtrack
* Character Profiles
* Concept Art
* Toy Commercials
* Story Boards
* Interviews
...and it's still in widescreen so no worries there about extras being taken off for some reason. My constant Region 2 bashing takes a step back with this disc - the R1 version had absolutely nothing and was only full frame!
No offence intended to SR - they're great for so many things but DVDs just aren't one of them. The same can be said for loads of UK online DVD retailers.

Also... why doesn't SR sell the Superman box set? I need my box set!
Transformers! cool, I havn't seen them in a while + I didn't know they had a movie! darn, how did I miss that?
I've just looked on Play (where I've ordered it from) and it says the release date has splipped again from 22/10 to 5/11.
This is terrible news is if proves to be true.
I'll have to console myself with Cats and Dogs and Final Fantasy, which are both out in the next 2 weeks.
