Does anyone get port-scanned a lot in a day?

I have had warnings of a blocked port-scanning 4 times in the last day. Is this a normal occurance or should I burn my computer with holy fire?

Isnt that when it looks for printers and scanners, mine done it when i put my nw printer in...
It said it was scanning the ports to find what one the printer was in...

if you don't use holy fire, id at least recommend washing the whole computer down with holy water then be sure to drink any excess, just to be sure.
