Exactly.
...
Where did the 14/11/03 date for Mario Kart: Double Dash!! come from, as it sounds like a confirmed date? Or is it just an estimate?
Top stuff.
Just thought I'd point that out while you're here. :-D
And the argument on the Cube-Europe site made about Nintendo never advertising is completely true. Of course, they started off promising more adverts more often, and at the start of the Gamecube's life, they came, but the amount of money Nintendo put into advertising the Cube was pales in comparison to what Microsoft did with the Xbox. And then you'd think they'd make more of an effort, but nope - I haven't seen an advert for a Gamecube game in about 2 months (Zelda), and even then, I think I saw that once. They NEED more advertising, and not only for Gamecube, but for Game Boy Advance as well. At the start of its life there were a fair number of ads, all fairly comical, and they very probably had an impact on the console's sales. But as of late, they've stopped with the GBA adverts too.
What Nintendo really need right now is a kick up the backside. Sony's EyeToy will make them millions, and with reason; I think it's a great piece of kit, having used it the other day. And Microsoft's Xbox Live is doing tremendously well at the moment. What are we, as Gamecube owners, getting? Bloody connectivity. Rubbish. At least give us something online, Nintendo.
Thankfully, Satoru Iwata at E3 did point out that Nintendo had made problems and stated that a lot of work will be put into putting an end to them. But although he's told us that Nintendo will not retreat, I'm wondering whether they'll actually pull off anything. Something needs to be done, and soon.

Oh yeah sorry, I forgot you're getting a crappy update of a game that deserves a full sequel.

*sniggers*
:-)
No doubt PD2 will rule, but that's quite a while away (2005 I read somwhere...)

Yup. Europe IS second rate to Nintendo.
