OK, so this was a wasted thread and you may go ahead and delete it, but the Sony forum used to be where I spent most of my time on the old SR and early Freeola forums. I just don't like to see it ending up like the Dreamcast one.

No, Aeris could never ever be revived (without a cheat cartridge and even then the game crashes eventually :-D)

There was talk of having her be revived but the team never had the time to implement it.

Was it true in the Japanese version you could revive Aeries?

And why are Square jerking us around with the PS3 (?) FFVII demo.

I played it too, it was my favourite game on PS1, and maybe of all time too.

My brother has taken our PS2 so I've not played any Sony games for a long time. :(
