Some on these forums seem to have the impression that I know *everything* about PS2. I've never claimed to, but they think it anyway.
Clearly I don't.
Now there is a ch!nk in my armour, and my followers will abandon me. My God-like status is lost! Boo hoo!
I'm going into the garden to eat worms.
;-)
P.S. Why the heck is 'c***k' not allowed? I know why in theory, but it's a perfectly valid word!!!
When I saw that the version in Reg X hadn't changed I presumed that the update hadn't worked.
I didn't for a moment think that it shouldn't work if I hadn't done it properly!
Bottom line is this, if you've got the Sony remote with the 2.10 driver then you need to use the Reg X update codes to upgrade to 2.10.
If Reg X works (and didn't previously) then you've done it - despite what it may say when Reg X boots up.
(I feel all clever now!).
