I'm flat sitting for my brother as he's on holiday, so had a few mates round over the weekend for some beer and gaming. Decided to rent a few games to try something new. My mate suggested Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003.

I was like "Yeah, whatever" but he talked my into it and.. it's a bloody great game! I've just got into it so much. The learning curve is pretty spot on, it's easy to get the basics, but to get Eagles and Birdies you need to have spent a little time playing.

The graphicsd aren't great, but then what's new with a multi-platform EA Sports game? Plus that fact that it doesn't really matter for this game...

The single player is huge, and there's loads of multiplayer games, like the very amusing Speed Golf.

I liked it so much, that I really didn't want to take it back to the rental shop. So I went back to SR in Chelmsford, and traded in Brute Force to get it....

Another Brute Force fan I see ;)

I was thinking of getting this a while a go but to be honest I have given up on EA Sports titles. They are great for the first 10 minutes and then they become boring and repetitive. The next day when you go down to trade it in they seem to have released another 5 in between which makes them worthless. The only fun golf game I have ever played is Everybodys Golf/Hot Shots golf on the PSONE. When I pick up my PS2 again I will go for Hot Shots golf 3 and save the trouble of getting angry over another shoddy EA Sports game.
