My collegue is telling me that petrol is clear,but I don't believe him, I think its dark grey, because if you buy a top that is petrol colour its like a charchol grey colour. Diesel too? If you buy Diesel colour clothes they would be blue.

He is alos trying to tell me that tax-free petrol that farmers and lorry drivers use is pink!

Can someone colloberate or refute his story?

That's oil...

Nah, petrol is clear/yellow, yet you do get a colour called 'Petrol Blue' which is a light greeny/blue colour, but I am not sure why they call it 'Petrol'.

Petrol is black, but it outside layer reacts with the air and it makes it light reflecting so when you look at it, it seems lots of different colours...

Most petrols and dervs are normally a pee colour,except for red diesel which has a dye added and is illegal for normal usage.

The tax free fuel that farmers use is diesel and it is indeed pink.

Not sure about the colour of petrol, though - always assumed it was a sort of translucent green ...
