When I was a lot younger, my dad was trying to sort out a problem with his old car - for some reason fed the tube that carries the petrol to a milk bottle so that it doesn't get burnt up (I think there was something clogging up the pipe). The petrol coming out was indeed a yellow colour.

Oil is clear when you put it into a car. Its only black when it comes out.
