"How Did You Find SR???"

I am bored(again) so I wanted to know how you people found out about good ol' SR.

I personally used to buy Official Playstation Magazine a lot and there were loads of adverts of companies elling games. I saw SR's advert and became a member.
Found out about a site when looking for games sites about 8 months ago.

How about you....?

Well I saw the ad in N64 mag years ago. My brother became a member and then when his membership ran out, I renewed it for myself. I saw the GAD advert so I showed up on the forums as The_Jesus. At first I felt ridiculous but enjoying pleasure is a life skill.

I saw it in a magazin ages ago. I have been a member for a couple of years now. Then when I went to ukdreamcast.com I saw the adverts for gameaday and forums, so I went.

Ah, I see Shaneo has given a history of his FAD/GAD wins. I'll do so as well...

I didn't really come to the site for the games. Nope, came for the films! So I posted my reviews. Got dissapointed when my first review (Of CTHD) didn't win. So I deceided to write a review about my favourite film, Dogma. I won, which surprised me, after 6 days here. So I got Austin Powers 2. Then I went on holiday for 2 weeks. Came back, wrote a review of The Phantom Menace the same day. Won again, got Mission Impossible 2. Then I deceided I'd had enough of reviews, and wandered into the DVD forum. Starting chatting, found that this was more fun than winning, so I went into WLT. RBS started laughing at me, so I laughed back. Now I'm there as much as him and pay a rent. :(
I've won two more times, once for a topic about killing sharks, which was ironically, the first time I wasn't trying to win. Then a Man U Predictions topic, bit of a laugh really, and was surprised when it won. Thats about it.

I was looking around on the internet for cheap games. I tried Game, Electronics Botique and loads more and I decided to try Special Reserve.com. I saw an add that read "Gameaday.co.uk - Win The Game Of Your Choice Every Day!". I read what you had to do and signed up.

I wrote a review for WWF Royal Rumble for Dreamcast and won with it (on my 1st day of being registered on the site!). I chose Shenmue for my win. A month later (late January 2001), I won with a House Of The Dead 2 Review. I chose Jet Set Radio.

Then there was a long gap, where I didn't win for 7 months. I didn't post as much, but eventually, I came back and began posting better than ever, as my GAD/FAD wins proved in this past months.

Firstly, I won a FAD for a Jurrassic Park 3 Review I wrote, but didn't notice that I'd won until I checked FAD one day (because I never used to try to win FAD). I chose WWF Mick Foley: Hard Knocks And Cheap Pops. Then, about a week later, I won Final Fantasy 9 for a post entitled "Idiot's Guide To Robbing Special Reserve". Just over 2 weeks later, I won under my 2nd username for a review of The Shining and chose WWF Wrestlemania 17. Just last week, I won WWF Best Of Raw 1&2 for a Vertical Limit review.

Well, that's all you need to know about me. Bye all. I'm off to play Legend Of Mir.

i came on here to get answers about the NO mercy bug. Initally i entered the WWF forum, stayed there for a weeks and then discovered the rest of the SR forums by chance.

I was told to go on this site by Shocktrooper, I know him off the net so he introduced me onto the site, and to SR as well.
