Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

I have been playing Ocarina of Time and Super Circuit. Both excellent games. I am on the Fire temple on Oot.

The multiplayer is wonderful... the games require "getting into" though... which is unusual for Nintendo.

I've been playing the multiplayer this morning and a lot of yesterday morning with two of my mates, and its safe to say its well overhyped. Some of the games are just far too bizarre, and the rest don't really do much for me, or my mates. Granted it'll keep you entertained for a bit, but its hardly Mario Party/Mario Kart/Timesplitters 2/Monkey Ball standards. And when you consider that my friends and I play System Link on Xbox when we can this won't get a look in alongside team Rainbow Six 3, Halo (2) etc. etc.

And single player is an utter travesty. Just a direct port of the GBA original with a few extras chucked in along with a "between mini game sequence" I could've made using Flash! It doesn't even have the classic single player minigames in the original like Jump Forever!

Only buy if you don't have a GBA.

SSB was one of my fav games, then my bro saved over my almost fully complete save game, with a new game. Now I dont have the energy to do it all over again.

Ah... sorry. AS I was going through it there wasn't much excitement anyway.

Just got the final tri-force map translated. Boy that 50 Level Dungeon is hard, couldnt be bothered to do a lot after the Tri-force map bit...
