I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
I really have no money.

Infinitely respawning psi-troopers (the ones in black Splinter Cell-esque suits) are the worst :|
And woo. I'm back playing Animal Crossing for the moment :) Since the last time I played it's been my birthday so I've got a third NES game (Excitebike) and tons of stuff to flog to Nook for loadsa Bells.
What I like about it is that they teach you a move, you use it... they then get you used to other puzzles and means of working them out and THEN they re-introduce you to a section and you're like "now what??" and then you remember that little trick you were taught 7 levels back...
Clever.
It is a top game, Free Radical Design are by far the best British developer and I'm proud of that.
I wonder if John Vattic, Jayne Wilde, Grenko and various other winter ice team mates and baddies will appear as playable characters in the Timesplitters: Future Perfect multiplayer.
Doak must have considered putting them in. It'll be great playing as John Vattic in a first person multiplayer blast. It's also a great way of advertising Second Sight, which deserves by far more attention than it is getting.
I am now tempted to get Pool Paradise :D Although I'll probably just get Animal Crossing and wait patiently for Pikmin.
Black Arrow (online)
Burnout 3 (online and off)
Counter-Strike (online)
Thief: Deadly Shadows
Rallisport Challenge 2 (online and off)
I thought I had it bad when my island-friend said to me:
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN FOR THE LAST 21 WEEKS!?!?"
;)
What have I been playing recently? Not Animal Crossing.
The last game I played, I think, was Pool Paradise. About a week ago, when I threw away THREE games in a row with frame-losing pots, and I'm now down to my last £1,000! :S
Damn you, O.J. Stumpstem! Damn you, Potman, you big, gay.... Fictional character...! :P
I haven't felt like playing anything else recently, with the growing pile I have still to play. And no, I haven't been that busy, either. Not in the evenings, anyway, when I can usually be found with my 'Cube controller in hand. Very strange...
"Remember the 12th of January? No? A fairly insignificant date to you? Well that was the last time you talked to me!!
:D
What a fantastic game.

Nah too many games to waste time getting all the little extras.
The game started to slighty grind towards the end. Just a bit though.
Still highly recommend it.

Because all the challenges and side-bits in the City to get the Pearls are fun.
