I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
Anyway back to decent games :P
Zelda: Four Swords today, got stuck for the first time, and I mean truly stuck, required Gamefaqs to help me out.

Probably, I expect ToS is better, in which case I'm playing thme the right way round:
Sudeki then ToS and finally SoAL.
and after that mabye Sudeki 2. :D

I think you'll find I play plenty of games but I see your point.
I'm sure Sudeki in reality is a very different game.
And don't worry about the FIFA comment, I only bought it because I'm a bit football fan and I just wanna get Leeds back into the Premiership :)
And at £24 who can complain?

It's a fantastic game. Basically without the crappy platforming, leaving the exploration and fighting. Four characters all fighting at once, spells stats combos etc.
As I said: it's better than Fable and deeper than Zelda.
100% true.
Edit: I've probably played more games than most people on this site. So when something comes along that I think's great I'm going to tell people about it. If people don't agree then they can go and play what ever 40 quid fluff floats their boat, personally I like hybrids, I'm open to new things, I don't buy Fifa every year.
Hybrids and new approaches are fantastic, but most people don't even see that. They want generic game no #15 and I can appreciate that as I like a fair amount ofthose games to. BUT I also want originality and new approaches which is why I recent bought Sudeki, Silent Hill 4, The Suffering, PSi Ops, Future Tactics, Breakdown and Ghost Master.
These game either offer new approaches or are original. Definate top 10 in the sales charts every one of them? Not likely. But like I say I don't buy Fifa.

Lol you really need to give it up with the whole Sudeki thing it just won't sink it.
I doubt, highly, it has that magical effect that Zelda has, that feeling that no other game has ever been able to replicate ever.
Better than Fable and deeper than Zelda.
Just rescued the first of 4 Knights to rescue Hyrule from Vatti.
The story is a bit guff but I'm really enjoying the clever four way Zelda puzzles and what not.
It does feel weird playing a linear Zelda game, where you are pushed along to each level. Some levels require some exploration but not too much, you get pushed pretty much forward until you reach the temple or castle or what have you and rescue the fairy thing.
Nice to see Malon and Talon in the game, as well as the Goron race. Four Swords has a bit of every Zelda title. Lon Lon Ranch appeared in my most recent venture.
Into the fourth world at the moment. The game is a tad easy, but their is still a little challenge to be found.
Top stuff.
