I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?

I haven't played Metroid Prime 2 enough to agree with that. So far Pikmin 2 then Paper Mario 2.
You'll beat that final boss with ease if you've got the Fierce Deity's mask. Challenging without the mask, with it, it's a walk in the park. Link looks so so so evil!
Still playing Four Swords. Still enjoying it.

For the temple, yes, for the boss fight, NO. To beat the final boss without the Feirce Diety mask you'll best have collected all 17 heart containers (3 heart containers is the new game default) and have all the upgrades by collecting all 15 fairies in each dungeon.
damn you cylcone
For me, Resi 0-ness has been taking over my time. That bas' of a leech man is really getting my nerves now.

I paid more than that for Zoocube and didn't feel ripped off. :-)
Eternal Darkness is a gem. Well worth the £30 I paid for it.
Slightly like Resi but a lot more playable.
Less "survival", more "action" but still plenty of creeps as you explore places, especially when the "specialties" kick.
Some great tongue in cheek humour as well.
Not sure if it'll catch on so well when you've got so much else heading your way as well though.

True. The mechs suck.

Pikmin 2 :)
Paper Mario 2 comes third.
I just preordered DK Jungle Beat (+ 3rd set of Bongos FREE) and Resi 4, thankyou SR, and got Turok Evolution as my free gift (even though the title seems to be "No More - Turok Evolution", which makes me suspicious. But, they've promised me it, so, I'll get it).
I also just saw Eternal Darkness for £4 and thought I couldn't miss it, so I bought that. Why not. Die Hard Vendetta turned out to be pretty damn fun so hopefull this will be too. £4 is the cost of 3 buses so it's worth it even if it's rubbish, as long as its better than a bus journey.
I've still got my £10 GAME voucher I might use it to get money off Mario Tennis/TSFP although I don't know when I'll have time to play either of those.
With all the games I've played since MP2, my favourite is an old N64 Zelda. Still goes to show you that the oldest really are the best.
