Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Playing some PES4 and ALOT of Tales of Symphonia, I've got Metroid Prime 2 which seems better compared to the first for me but Tales rocks!

I disagree.

Restarted Resi 0, got to the second disc. I love Resi.

After seeing a review of Resi 4 by WhiteStripes I think. I decided to play through the first one, fell in love with it, completed it and decided to play Resi zero, completed it. Now I might drag out my PSX for a game of Resi 3 then some Dino Crisis.

Resis are amazing!

im on my fifth season so 10 more to go.i would be on my nineth but i quit.

I like the ease with which you can get people following you and then hide, and the spacious arenas which make it different from it's rivals.

I loved Manhunt long time.

Best bit was going up against the gang with the smiley faces on their masks in the run down prison. Some of the stuff they come out with when chasing you is enough to raise Mary Whitehouse from her grave with a "BAN DIS SICK FILTH!!!1!" placard attached to her forhead.

It's not for everyone though as a lot find the game play repetetive. Me, I just loved the dirty feel and the atmosphere of the whole thing. It did a much better job of creating tension than any of the other stealth games I've played.

Being able to chop peoples heads off with machetes and stab them in the eyeballs with shards of glass was a bonus too.

Since it only gets good after about 50 mins of play...
