I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?
I have 2 Gamecubes after all.
I spent the week b4 playing F-Zero X on my 64, to try and get back into the swing of things
That turned out not to be the best idea, as GX's handling is different to that of X's. Not majorly so, but enough for me to over steer and crash into walls many times on my first few trys!
It is a awesome game, and I have not completed it yet so I am really having a good time with it now.

I may have 3 in the end. But the third won't be online it'll be for offline link-up play with the other two. My friend has about 4/5 PC's online in a room for online play so having 2 xboxes online isn't much by comparison.
One of my friends is on evenings at the moment but when they get back on to early shifts we'll be playing Xbox live at sopme point most nights. Also it's the best of both worlds as I really like multiplayer gaming and online gaming so having two people online, in the same room and on the same game/level/etc will truely rule!

Not really, they're always round here playing on the Xbox or GC. :)
2 broadband lines will be also useful as I can have the PC making full use of one while I get a nice clear line on the other for my xbox.

You're buying 2 Xbox's, just so every now and then when you're mates come round you can play on Xbox LIve with them?
You're insane, can't they just buy an Xbox themselves?
Gamecube-wise me and my mates got a 4-player of Super Monkey Ball 2 earlier today, which was fab. Not played it in quite a while, so a 4-player in Monkey Target/Fight/Tennis/Football was fun. Need to finally get a 4-player of Conflict Desert Storm - didn't get round to that earlier.
So eagerly anticipating Mario Kart now - only 9 days!
I could've tried to make two xboxes work down a single 1mb line but it's 5 quid extra than a 1mb line to get two 512k lines which are less problematic as I'll only have 1 xbox on each line.
Just ordered a couple of broadband lines today so expect to see a lot of Live games in future posts.
Anyone seen any adverts for it?
