Timesplitters 2
I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.
So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Oh, and I've just realised this is my fifth post in a row :S I think I'll go to bed. Tomorrow I get Beyond Good & Evil.. should ease the pain of losing Skies methinks. Well.. that's the plan.

And you really enjoyed every single one of them? You must be easily pleased.
Oh, and I've just realised this is my fifth post in a row :S I think I'll go to bed. Tomorrow I get Beyond Good & Evil.. should ease the pain of losing Skies methinks. Well.. that's the plan.
Oh yeh, and the ending was perfect.. All the character's stories were rounded off brilliantly.. even though my favourite character died. Although, Fina in her sailor costume? *raar* :D
That's it. I've finished Skies of Arcadia Legends after about a month of non-stop play every single night. And it really has left me feeling empty, more than any game I've ever completed before. It sounds stupid, but after immersing myself completely in it's world for about 77 hours plus.. I'll probably have to go get a life again.. :(
If anyone hasn't played it, I recommend it 100%. You may have to buy online though as many shops don't stock it anymore - Sega relied on it's popularity from the Dreamcast to serve as publicity.. which failed as badly as the console itself, and so now is hard to find.
It now holds the crown as my favourite game on the Cube and possibly my personal best game ever. Sure the graphics aren't going to push the hardware, but in many cases they're as good as most other games designed for Cube. For storyline, depth, gameplay, originality, sound, extras.. it's unsurpassable.
Buy it now.. it'll strengthen the chances of me getting a sequel. :)

Still playing Skies.. 73 hours I think. I have absolutely everything now: every discovery, moonfish, cham, bounty fight. I'm just getting my kill total up to 2500 so I get the bonus fight with Vigoro before I charge into Soltis and beat the game for good.
