Timesplitters 2

I don't know why, I finished Zelda and decided to return to my older titles rather than lunge into any new ones (Pokemon soon yay). I should really play the still far from complete Metroid but that bores me so I had a laugh a minute blast on the frankly excellent and addictive Timesplitters 2, had some mates over to play it too. This is turning out just like Perfect Dark on how much I play it.

So go on what have you been playing? and why?

Just got to the Mother Brain on Zero Mission after only about 3 hours of play. Quite disappointing really, but the boss itself.... ****.

Frame rate does seem to suffer.

Didn't Like Pikmin? Why that was a mighty fine game. Roll on Pikmin 2.

Don't you just love it when the animals ask you to think up something new for them. :)

Sure, you could get them to swear their square, little heads off at the end of each sentence... But, I love the way they actually SAY it back to you. It sounds so brilliant - makes me laugh everytime. :)

"Quacky-doo" is Bill's new thing, while "And here we go!" still makes me smile at Tom Nook's end-of-month raffles. Then, there's "Want me to jam for you?" from Totakeke...

I cannot wait for the sequel! :D

Started playing Majora's Mask today from the [IZelda: Collector's Edition disc[/I]. Gave-up on it on the N64, but I'm hoping I might find the strength to see-it-through this time, despite all the others games I'm still wanting to both buy and complete, still. :)

The frame-rate seems to suffer horribly in the centre of Clock Town on Day 1, but, aside from that, it all seems pretty good for an N64 game. However, where you're given 5 minutes to go up the Clock Tower to see Skull Kidd on the 3rd Night (BEFORE you actually re-meet him), with the speed those seconds were ticking-away at, it was more like 2-and-a-half minutes!!

So, something's gone a little wrong in the transition there...
I just hope it don't affect me later in the game. :S :)

Yeah, exactly what I found. I completed the whole game, everything unlocked in just 3 days of semi-regular playing. Probably about 10 hours of gameplay overall. I still play it when my cousin comes down, but we usually revert to the N64 version as it's multiplayer is better.

Meh. Couldn't stand it. Stopped playing after 2 hours because I couldn't take any more.

Thinking about it actually, a the GC's been a bit underwhelming for me.

Out of the 14 titles I own, I play only two of them.

I've missed out on a few of the huge titles but by and large I've got the killer ones and usually I've got bored of them after a few days and now they just sit there gathering dust.

Not entirely sure why this is happening, I think I'm just moving on from games really.

Meh. Sad to close a large chapter of my life, but there we go.

Just got Mario Kart and Soul Calibur also. Mario kart is fun but easy, and Soul Calibur is infuriatingly hard, calling buttons by different names.

I despised Pikmin and will continue to do so until the day I die. And after that I'll still hate it's inner silicon bits.
