Ok, so i know nothing about the insides of the computer and i want to get it good enough to play half life 2


i think have somthing like 550mhz if that means anything



How can i do this well and cheaply too?
gfx card?
processor?
etc.

Ok, for graphics card i reckon the Sparkle geforce fx 5200 is your best bet. Its 128mb and also supports direct x 9.

So there you go, new gfx card and new CPU for less than £150. Although i would suggest buying as fast a processor as you can afford, or we'll be having this conversation again in about 4 months.
