A lot of the time he said the GameCube will be an, "completely new and gaming experience."
He also went on and on about how Nintendo don't care about the latest technology, and that they only focus on the games. Obviously a dig at the PS2 for having a DVD Player.
Something that made me laugh was when he commented on the Pokemon Mini. He said it was, "although it's small, it is truly a revolution in gaming."
Pah! Lol!
But those were okay. I would expect those. It's this that really got me.
"Nintendo have a heritage of video games, that goes back over 100 years."
Erm...so consoles came out in 1900, did they??
Any thoughts on this??
And you may think I'm mad, or I'm lying. But my brother also heard it, and I'm very sure I heard it.
Now Ant, go sit in that corner :o)
> I hate those gaming programs like Game-Pad,Cheats etc. They don't have a clue of

Game-Pad is hosted by Violet Berlin, as digitiser columnist.
Think she knows more than enough about games to do a series (although thats clearly not why Bravo hired her :-D)
This really annoyed me, but i like watching cybernet, except its not on during the day anymore!!
But I'm very sure he said 'video gaming.' Perhaps a slip of the tongue, but then again, perhaps not.
> Ah, I see now...
But still, the guy said 'video games,' so really it's a bit

Ant, this rant is a bit over the top.
I saw the presentation too you know... most of it anyway.
I don't remember seeing one dig about another machine (if pointing out that it was purely for games was a dig, then as digs go, it wasn't a serious one).
I don't know whether the guy said "video" games (probably an accidental slip of the tongue), but he wasn't showing off either.
This Pokemon Mini/E-Card reader is pretty revolutionary.
It takes LCD handhelds to a new level.
Although you and I don't care for LCD handhelds, for those that do, it's a godsend.
The E-card reader on the gameboy advance looked pretty interesting too.
Little mini games programmed into the bar code which can be traded. Very cleverly done.
He went into detail explaining the machines strengths like the good games and certain features.
It was also accompanied by some of the best GC footage of some games like Eternal Darkness that I'd ever seen.
I didn't see the very beginning so I didn't see whether he bothered to cuss the opposition, but even if he did, it's no worse than what Sony and Microsoft do as well.
If anything, it was a good presentation for letting people know about the Gamecube (which hasn't been in the public eye as much as it should).
And he's right.
Many games for the Gamecube are a "completely new and gaming experience."
Even though the PS2 has been out for a year, it has yet to produce something as innoative and original as Monkey Ball (which is made by Sega, but still a Gamecube game), Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin.
And that's just the Gamecubes launch games.
It was simply a big Gamecube advert.
You might find it boring (if you don't like Nintendo), you might find it interesting (if you don't have anything against Nintendo), but it's nothing to rant about.
But still, the guy said 'video games,' so really it's a bit of a lie from Nintendo...
