Personally I dont think I would......

Whether your friends a good mate or not, we all have different tastes in games and what your mate may think is quality you wont necassarily think the same.....

----

Would you ever buy a game because you felt left out?

If all of your mates have Championship Manager and theyre all talking about Javier Saviola, leaving you sitting there in total confusion, you may feel under pressure to atleast buy the game.

----

So all Im trying to ask you is, Do your friends effect your decisions on buying certain games?

and if so, Why?

----

Thanks

I wouldn't buy a game if my friend recommended it, mainly because my friends don't play computer games.

If I am on the lookout for a new game I might take a friend`s advice and would definitely read a few reviews of it 1st . I do feel left out when I am with people talking about other games , for I have never owned a PS1 .

If My mate said it was good, and commented about it silly, I would look into it and see some review to make up my mind.

I wouldn't just go with the opinion of my friends, but my best two friends are very reliable for judging a good game. I'd rather play the game first, either that or read a review by a non biased reviewer.

The only game that I got under a friends advice was ISS Pro Evoloution 2, but I had heard so much about the game that I found it very addictive to hear about let alone play it.

I wouldn't buy a game because a mate recommended it and I wouldn't buy a game because I felt left out. I need to know the quality of the game to feel comfortable in buying it.

I wouldn't buy Championship manager if you paid me!

Well, actually, if you gave me a large enough some of cash I probably would buy it :)

But I have the ZX Spectrum version and it is more exciting watching it load for 5 minutes than actually playing it!

If a friend said a game is good, would I buy it?

I would consider it, but I'd play it on my friend's console first to see what it's like myself.
