Whether your friends a good mate or not, we all have different tastes in games and what your mate may think is quality you wont necassarily think the same.....
----
Would you ever buy a game because you felt left out?
If all of your mates have Championship Manager and theyre all talking about Javier Saviola, leaving you sitting there in total confusion, you may feel under pressure to atleast buy the game.
----
So all Im trying to ask you is, Do your friends effect your decisions on buying certain games?
and if so, Why?
----
Thanks

And you bought Lylat Wars. The evidence is mounting.....
No I won't.
"But I hate those games"
"But it's supposed to be really cool"
Some would say it's my own fault for being swayed, but I cannot accept that.
It is all your fault, nothing to do with me whatsoever.
I bought crap.
(mind you, K1 Arena Fighters was purely my call,so I cant really cry too hard)
In SR, with some money and wanting a game.
"Final Fantasy Seven is supposed to be cool" he says
"I hate RPGS"
"Yeah but this is pretty good"
"I hate wizards and elves and goblins and stuff like that"
"I know, but might be worth it, sold a ton"
"But I hate those stupid ga...oh alright"
Get it home, put it in.
Wander about the town, chat to some mooks, get to a Scorpion and fight in slowly, one turn at a time.
Game goes off, stays in box.
Play Tekken instead.
never, ever listen to mates opinion on games again.
I also have a friend who has a bizzarre taste in games and tells me that I "musst check this game out its AMAZING" and then it turns out to be Army men or something.
POP!
:P
