PS. Gimme a break

But it's not as secretive as that, is it? You're not only telling your friend, your also telling potential customers. Snuggly has already said you can use MSN to promote other offers and what-not, so why not just leave it at that. That's it. I don't see how people can complain further, the rules are there, like them or not, you should follow them. If you don't then you have an obvious lack of intelligence and do not deserve to participate in these forums.

But, continuing the analogy, the purpose of being in the department store is to buy, whereas if the purpose of being in the department store was to talk about games related things then people would. If you were with a friend, in a store, and you knew of a better deal elsewhere, wouldn't you tell them ?

Nope, not at all.
> That's a bit exagerrated isn't it?
I've spent...
N64 - £200
N64 Games - About £300
PC Games - £100
Gamecube + 4 Controllers - £130 + £25 + £15 + £15
That's about £785 (very roughly!)
Still I agree with MS. You're basically going into a departemtn store down your local hig street, getting a megaphone and shouting, "Go to xyz down there, they're much cheaper!"
You'd get banned and chucked out of that department store...
You don't advertise other people's stuff on another persons forum. People are trying to make money here.

That's a bit exagerrated isn't it?

You can fetch £40 on ebay for that if you leave it fully sealed and stuff.

I totally agree.
I may take them up on it, i should still make a profit from ebay.
I think some survey of members on this site might aid SR.
