does anybody know how i can attach my playstation 2 to my monitor as this will really save space on my small desktop and also look cool. also i must not be too expensive of a method.

TV cards are crap for this purpose. You are much better off getting an RGB to SVGA adapter box. The quality is much better and you do not have any issues with wiring the PS2 through your PC. Just think of the electricity bill. :D
WINTV, it's a tv tuner card with s-video input so you can watch TV on your monitor :-)

Buy a tv card, they only cost about £30-£40 and give a good clear picture.
