does anybody know how i can attach my playstation 2 to my monitor as this will really save space on my small desktop and also look cool. also i must not be too expensive of a method.

if you get the redant one.....there is only 1 speaker out port which is a bit of a bummer.......
but the good thing is you can link it up so that every time you want to switch back to your pc it is possible with a flick of the switch

i've got a redant vga card (from hong kong) and so far there are no compatibility problems whatsoever...
haven't tried gun games yet...but they should work fine cos for my dreamcast hotd2 works perfectly fine with the gun...
try an auction site to see whether you can get hold of one...

get a ps2 vga adapter....i have one....
that's how i have my ps2 in my room at boarding school at the moment...
gives best graphics quality too....
costs around 20 quid but probably more....cos i don't know whether you can get it here....i got mine in hong kong....

that way you will get a normal picture through your PC longy instead of using your old PS1 lead through the back of the tele because your tele dont have SCART does it?

can u use a playstation gun with a monitor.
i found that i can use a redant vga box to use my ps2 with my monitor but i cost $50 dollars and i live in the uk which add a high delivery charge does any one know where i can pick up a cheap box.
take a fibre optic cable from the back of your ps2 to your dolby 5.1 hifi, wiv its 5 speakers and 1 unobtrusive but neibour unfriendly subwoofer, and enjoy pretty good sound.
Alot of new sound systems for pc are dolby 5.1 surroound, so you may already have the hardware. A dead giveaway is the large no. of speakers.

Wire the audio outputs to a set of speakers/stereo.
