What the hell is the idea with this 'game'?

Mr. Ninestonehomaphrodite runs away from big black guy with even blacker marks under his eyes because he might break a nail on his helmet?! Most of the guys who run away aren't even holding a ball!

I think there is 3 divisions... West East and Central, I mean what is it? "Us West-siders don't like the way the East-siders look at us so we play with ourselves!"?

These mickey mouse idiots... they don't even go for tackles! The ref has to interveen before they hit incase one of them gets a little headache!

The whole game is stupid... I've tried to give it a change, because sport is a good thing... but no sooner would I class this a sport than I would lawn-darts!

They don't even have to touch the ball down... they just have to run... it's like 'Bulldog' with a ball! Stupid! Football is an art... Rugby is cool, Pool is a laugh, and Golf is much fun, but American Football is a joke!

And what's this... Soup-Bowl XXVIII? I mean we have The 6 nations... it sounds cool and they have the Soup Bowl?

This sport must rank among the worst ever made... it's just a babies version of running rugby! I'm not surprised they need cheer-leaders to attract crowds!

American Football.... Bah!

Game

Although teachers are under paid, its not exactly a fiar comparison.

David Beckham is a top star, not your average player.

He's more comparable to the top brains in an Oxbridge University rather than your average teacher.

You should be comparing your normal teachers to the average player in the second division, or something like that.

Yep.

And I tried not to say "Footballers are untalented", because I cant kick a ball for toffee.
I just, personally, find the idea that Beckham (who is an absolute bottom-feeder) gets more in a week than a nurse or teacher.

But that's just my opinion.

You're certainly right there. An older cousin of mine wanted to be a PE teacher. He did a course for it at university, but failed his final year three times. He sailed through the written exams, but he didn't have the discipline to control a bunch of kids. He now works at Tesco's, I believe.

I agree that footballers are vastly overpaid, and teachers are underpaid, but I think that a single top level footballer justifies higher wages, due to the huge number of people entartained so frequently, as opposed to a single teacher with their influence on a comparatively small number of kids.

Teachers are hugely important to a persons future and career. You get a bad teacher in a subject you really enjoy, you could perhaps drop a grade. This could affect what job you get, take you off on a completely different tangent than if you had been taught be a decent teacher.
I'm rubbish at German, but have a quality teacher. Got my GCSE grades about a month ago. A*. Its for this reasons I think teachers make far more difference than football players.

What?
Unbelievable
*shakes head*

I'm not going to get into this,it'll end in a row and today is too nice for that.

I think teachers are underpaid, undervalued and dedicated people that forsake a decent wage in order to try and help people better themselves whilst footballers are privileged, albeit skilled at kicking a ball, over-paid, money-hungry cretins.

That doesn't mean I'm right, same as it doesn't mean you're wrong.
We just have different values, but please do not write teachers off by saying "anyone can do it" because that's not true.

Nothing like rugby!

ok, so except for passing forwards instead of backwards, being able to walk over the touch down and scoring, but what are the other difference?
