What the hell is the idea with this 'game'?

Mr. Ninestonehomaphrodite runs away from big black guy with even blacker marks under his eyes because he might break a nail on his helmet?! Most of the guys who run away aren't even holding a ball!

I think there is 3 divisions... West East and Central, I mean what is it? "Us West-siders don't like the way the East-siders look at us so we play with ourselves!"?

These mickey mouse idiots... they don't even go for tackles! The ref has to interveen before they hit incase one of them gets a little headache!

The whole game is stupid... I've tried to give it a change, because sport is a good thing... but no sooner would I class this a sport than I would lawn-darts!

They don't even have to touch the ball down... they just have to run... it's like 'Bulldog' with a ball! Stupid! Football is an art... Rugby is cool, Pool is a laugh, and Golf is much fun, but American Football is a joke!

And what's this... Soup-Bowl XXVIII? I mean we have The 6 nations... it sounds cool and they have the Soup Bowl?

This sport must rank among the worst ever made... it's just a babies version of running rugby! I'm not surprised they need cheer-leaders to attract crowds!

American Football.... Bah!

Game

It's a really big event in America, if you ever see any kids in colleges on TV they all play 'football' + sitcoms and the Simpsons always have it on.

I don't see thepoint in it, it looks like Ice Hockey on grass, but it's more of a sophisticated game than Rugby,
I saw a football match on a rugby field just the other day and it was funny watching the footballers run after the ball which seemed to change direction more often than not :) good idea for improved fitness.

Never played the game itself, but I have played a Madden version on the Mega Drive.

It seems okay when you actually start playing but...the play gets stopped all the time! Just as it gets exciting, the ref's whistle blows, and they all start lining up for about 5 minutes. They break it up too much really. The good thing with Football and Rugby is the game is only stopped for a foul or when it goes off. American Football seems to be stopped all the time...

I get the feeling they spend more time getting ready than they do actually playing.

Oh, and get this! One member of the team ONLY comes on to kick the ball! That's all he does!! He gets paid thousands a week just to kick a ball about 7 or 8 times during a match!

But we all have opinions. I expect I'd like it more if I played it, but I don't think I could watch it without getting bored.

apparently they have 2 teams per team offence and defence
so when they lose possesion they all swap around so there are 2 completely different line ups on the field.
football would be a nightmare if it was like that.

We just have different values, but please do not write teachers

I suppose it depends upon your personal experiences with teachers...

yeah but the 'top class' footballers are thick, waste their money and end up working minimum wage in a fish and chip shop!
