Gone.
And movie studios are removing any and all traces of the WTC from movies. Ok, I can sort of understand that if it's set in a modern-day context and has yet to be released.
But apparently they are also going back and re-editing past movies to remove the WTC.
Why?
What the hell is with that? A lot of comments I've read have said "I'd like to remember the WTC for what they were. Symbols of America's power and ingenuity".
But any shots of the WTC are being removed systematically.
Is this another case of America re-writing it's history to ignore the bits it doesn't like?
Why pretend they were never there in the 1st place?
Seems a tad disrespectful to the families.
Stupid Hollywood logic.
Pretending it never happened at all instead of just accepting it was a tragedy but in a few months, nobody will even remember the date it happened.
I'm not being callous, but it's the truth.
Tell me the date of the Hillsborough Tragedy, or the Challenger exploding, or the Omagh bombing.
We have short memories, so remember the WTC whilst you can.
And I'm still waiting for those dates.
> So when was Hillsborough?
Zebrugge?
Challenger?
The Omagh bomb?

It's ok though, Eastenders is 4

Sorry, too young to remember them. Buts its OK, we'll put a cynical comment at the end of the post.
Zebrugge?
Challenger?
The Omagh bomb? Bishopsgate?
No? Thought not.
(and before anyone runs off to check the dates on the Net, nobody has posted them here yet).
It's ok though, Eastenders is 4 nights a week now.
That was what I was saying.
People will forget it? Sure.... September 11th 2001. Come back if you need your memory refreshed.
