Gone.
And movie studios are removing any and all traces of the WTC from movies. Ok, I can sort of understand that if it's set in a modern-day context and has yet to be released.
But apparently they are also going back and re-editing past movies to remove the WTC.
Why?
What the hell is with that? A lot of comments I've read have said "I'd like to remember the WTC for what they were. Symbols of America's power and ingenuity".
But any shots of the WTC are being removed systematically.
Is this another case of America re-writing it's history to ignore the bits it doesn't like?
Why pretend they were never there in the 1st place?
Seems a tad disrespectful to the families.
Stupid Hollywood logic.
Pretending it never happened at all instead of just accepting it was a tragedy but in a few months, nobody will even remember the date it happened.
I'm not being callous, but it's the truth.
Tell me the date of the Hillsborough Tragedy, or the Challenger exploding, or the Omagh bombing.
We have short memories, so remember the WTC whilst you can.
Should have wrote more there.
It is just stupid, the whole idea of erasing their past, doesn't make sense.
Ok, Spiderman movie of course is reasonable but why erase everything to do with the building.
People won't forget it... every old shot you will see of NEw York in the skyline is the trade centre.
Hmm did Stalin not airbrush out every picture with Trotsjy in it.
:-)
Thats my opinion anyway, I guess
> I could be wrong?
You're always wrong.

He makes good villans.
Haley-Joe Osmont as the good-hearted, kindly postal clerk.
Christina Ricci as the high-powered, initially frosty token of his affections?
