I wrote a very long walkthrough recently (which hasnt been posted yet) and was looking through the latest walkthrough entries. Vhayste has blatantly copied and pasted about 6 walkthroughs. I know I cant really talk, but just double checking that copying and pasting a walkthrough is cheating. Can someone please confirm that he is?

Actually the guy could simply have registered under the name of the IGN reviewer and may not actually be him but is copying the reviews over under the guise of the IGN poster.

No nothing will happen, he's still entitled to a GAD if he wins. But know this: In my experience usually walkthroughs that are listed in the latest walkthrough sections don't win gads. Typically those that do win gads get posted after winning. So yours might have won...

So the person has indeed hasn't won a GAD. If the trend is set to continue.

Whilst this maybe the case he's cheating, his drakengard 2 walkthrough isn't Plagrised. He's using his own work from ign.com there to put into our walkthroughs.

I check the others.

EDIT: Yep, there are records of him making walkthroughs of all these games on IGN.COM. Whilst he has copied his work, he has not however plagruised as they're his own work and author.

Although he should perhaps, make a better job of cleaning his work up when submitting. Currently, my impression is that the person is being opportunistic but i can't say i can deny him any chance of a GAD.

Its a vague moral issue here.

The walkthrough inquistor completed his investigation. The accused was deemed not guilty and innocent of walkthrough heresy known as plagurism. However, the inquistor noted that the people of fair freeola frowned upon the act of taking personal work from other sites and using it to gain respect and tributes from the royals of their beloved kingdom.

The inqusitor however remained indifferent on the matter and had sent kill teams to enforce order in society and remain vigilant on developments.
