This thread has been linked to the game 'Mario Kart Double Dash'.
Surprise surprise, Australia were supposed to be the first PAL region to get the game, it was due out Mid October, Ninty Aus have now emailed registered users saying the release date date has now slipped to "sometime in November" vague as ever, will it affect our release date (currently 13/11 I think), who knows ?

Not really. Looks a bit PANTS compared to all the other Mario Kart games.
I'm sure it'll be good and fun in its own right, but still.... it ain't good ol' traditional Mario Kart!

I just feel disappointed - i was looking forward to some hot carting acton, and this 2 per cart thing as kinda... annoyed me.

Yeah damn you Nintendo for not sticking to the same formulae used in 3 nearly identical games... why oh why did Nintendo change a game I already own 3 times.

Bahh! The SNES game was all flat and great.
N64 game went all 3D, new tracks, and was great fun!
Not counting the GBA version as vitually EVERY game Nintendo have made for the thing so far has been a SNES port!
All I'm saying is why not stick to proper single character racing. What's with this stupid two charater milarky? And those stupidly huge chomp powerup things?

Bahh! The SNES game was all flat and great.
N64 game went all 3D, new tracks, and was great fun!
Not counting the GBA version as vitually EVERY game Nintendo have made for the thing so far has been a SNES port!
