I got F-zero a few hours ago, and it rocks!

Yes it is hard, but it rules so much.

So far I have: won a grand prix championship, knocking my rival off the tracks several times, so that outta show him.
Played a level on story mode.
Watched some cool FMVs.
Designed my own ship, which is orange and blue and I put some wicked logos on it. It slow and weak, but I'll improve it. :-)

The game is starting to get hard now, but its so good, and I am always willing to go back for a challenge.

The graphics are awesome, and the backgrounds are so detailed. Yes it is as fast as you think itll be and the twisty tracks are so cool. The multiplayer is rockin too!

Seriously, you have to get this, but you already knew that. And the USA version does work on freeloader, and the action replay version of freeloader, I tried it on both, for all you importers out there (josh).

Ok, I'm off to whoop Captain Falcons butt in the grand prix again.

Ciao

I just rotate between racers.

Right now I'm using one of the many extremely camp racers this game contains; James McCloud.

I've previously used Captain Falcon, The Skull, Mighty Gazelle, Samurai Goroh and Octoman.

My favourite character, Black Shadow, I can't really go because his car is crap for controlling.

What a brilliant game.

Just defeated Samurai Goroh in Chapter 2 on Very Hard. Spent so much time trying to do it on Hard that as soon as I'd completed that I tried out Very Hard and beat it pretty much first time.

When I beat a chapter in Story Mode on Very Hard (Chapter 2, incidently) I've found out that I've unlocked 11 secret car slots. Already unlocked one of the cars - the driver is Princia, and the car is something to do with Moons. Although, sadly, it has crappy handling. 20 credits wasted...

But still, at least SEGA are rewarding skill in the game.

I created my Astro Lynx G4 last night, not very good to look at but fairly quick (B/C/C stats), this game is great isn't it, still need to do Emerald on Standard to unlock Diamond Cup, that's my mission for tonight :)

He used to be my favourite character, in the days of F-Zero X. He probably still would be, but they went and mucked up the way his car handles, and he now slides about and goes completely out of control throughout every race.

So I now use other vehicles that actually work.

Still like Black Shadow, though. He's like an evil version of Captain Falcon, although not quite so camp.

Pleased to see Ninty are doing an official F-Zero time trial competition and that time related passwords are built into GX.
