Well I think so anyway.

I've read allot about Call of Duty over the past few months and everything I've read seems to suggest this is shaping up to be one hell of a game. It's a WW2 based FPS, created by ex members of 2015 who previously worked on MOH: Allied Assault.

The game itself is based around the closing years of the war, it spans 4 campaigns which take you from Normandy, straight into Berlin which is the overall objective of the game. The game also lets you play three different sides as you advance through occupied Europe, the ever present Americans, The (Finally we get a mention) British and perhaps best of the lot Russians, where you get fight through the ruined city streets of Stalingrad which looks, from the screenshots I've seen, amazing.

There's also more of an emphasis on team play in the game since in most battles you'll be accompanied by squads of fellow soldiers. The developers have also promised that some battles will include up to 300 troops on screen at one time which sounds hefty but will amazing if they pull it off.

Still, if you have yet to hear, or even see this game there is a demo out now which was released late last night.

It's got one level and sees you as part of a squad of US paratroopers the night before the Normandy beach landings. It's a great demo that really gives you feel of how the final game will play, plenty of high octane action as you fight through hedgerows and towns as you approach the objective to destroy 3 Anti-Aircraft guns. Try one of the links below to get the demo:

Downloaded the demo, wouldn't finish since I didn't have enough room on my E:\

Cleared the space and it wouldn't let me finish the download so I had to restart it. 42%...

Might go play Madden or Silent Hill 3 while I wait.

The MoJo is very impressed. It's so similar to MOH, yet so different. I shall be getting this when it comes out in December.

It's cool when an explosion goes off right next to you, you go deaf like in SOCOM and everything goes blurry like in Saving Private Ryan (you know, when Hanks goes mental) Multiplayer should be excellent.

Best demo ever.
I'll be getting this on the day of release, oh yes indeedy.
Think MOH ramped up beyond belief.
Incredible graphics, the flack-cannon thing shooting streams of fire into the sky and the 3 crewmen operating it, the half-track.
Absolutely stunning. As frantic as the D-Day landing of MOH but without the pre-scripted bits or easy-to-work-out shooting pattern.
Played it through about 4 times now and still impresses.

Full game you play American, Soviet and...er...someone else. Takes MOH, pulls it's pants down and forcefully shows it who the daddy is.
Electronic Arts were retarded to let 2015 go after creating one of the best FPS.
So Activision snaps them up and kerching!!.

When is this released?

December, according to SR, 12th I think.

I've played through it on all difficulty settings, the hardest one makes the game even better. One guy can kill you.

You play as the Americans, the Soviets and, yes, the Brits. Woo.

MoJo and Goatboy both have extremely good taste.
I too, experienced the deaf blurry bit when a mortar goes off next to you.
I've been trying to make it do it again, but to no avail.
I cannot wait for this at all.
It makes me want to wee.

I'm sure that's just the coffee.

And of course I have good taste! Can't say the same for Goatboy...

(I'm not actually basing that on anything, I'm just sad and taking another shot at Goaty for the sake of it)

You could've just left it to download...

You don't have to sit and stare at your monitor waiting for the percentage to go up.
