IGN gave it 7.7 and a few others were around the top 6's to early 7's. Its going off my list as after reading what its like it sounds like an inferior version of the first Buffy game which costs about £15 new if you look around. The scores didn't put me off it was the content of the reviews and a few have stated the game engine is slower than the first Buffy and that the moves aren't as varied or technically accurate. Oh well wasn't one I wanted but I would have given it a further look if it had sounded a little better.

Your thoughts on this?

I wish I was a soulless life form.

I'm sick and tired of just being a figment of Edgy's imagination. :(

A Vampire isn't dead - it's undead. A soul-less life form.

And so, it can still die. Incapacitation via injury is just one of the ways.

what do you all think of the level designs? some of them seem good but they don't realy have the same effect as the design's from the first game did................

you would injure, but if you were dead then it wouldn't kill you.................more!

agreed, Level 1 was like a training session so you could get to know the character's - bit like the Spanish mission in the first game.........

in my opinion the graphics are fine, but because it is a multi-format game, they don't look anywhere near as good as the first game,
the camera is fine, i don't know what all the fuss is about, almost every review has complained about it, but it seem's to work fine.............

So far some really good moments - level 1 is poor, but the second is great - a large cemetary with vast underground bits, particularly liked the leap down into this large mausoleum as Buffy smashes through the glass ceiling - just like the show. I'm actually changing my mind about the graphics, stuff like clothes are seperate graphics not just colours on the character models, and the camera DOES rotate 360 in most sections.

If a human takes a chunk out of you with his teeth, would you not injure?

the first few levels are easy, but the game - for me - is getting really hard..................

Sid just get's kicked allot............

well you only get to play as 1 character on the Alias game, so it should be alright. i have no problem playing as Spike and Faith, but Willow and Xander ain't really that fun.........

my opinion of the game will probably change once i have finished it, i like a challenge but at the moment this game is frustrating the hell out of me...........

You said you were halfway through, which seemed to suggest it was easy. Or you have a lot of time. Not sure about whether Sid could be killed by a Vampire bite as I haven't played him yet, may be a height problem there...

To be honest, baring in mind some of the god awful tv games there has been (Dark Angel anyone ?) it's pretty good. Hopefully the forthcoming Alias game will be better but if it's like this I won't be complaining.

and where did i say it was easy - if anything i implied that it was hard, the only reason i came on here was to ask for help! (i still can't find Faith!!!!!!!) and when you have 2 Vampires and a wonky skeleton trying to eat you your bound to get bit at some point...............

well, yeah - but if you are going to make a game based on a tv program then you should try and make it as true to the show as possible..........
