err hey all I have decided to buy and xbox....not that anyone would actually care heh.
anyway I was curious if it can play foreign games....U.S. basically

I'd just like to say, i have a lower broadband connection than 500k, which is the recommended, but would live still work?
Josh, you can get live with Freeserve broadband but presuming it is a USB ADSL modem then you will need to either get a router or an ethernet modem, or a network card and connect the Xbox to PC. All the info you will need is on the Xbox website.
As for chipping, it will get your Xbox banned from Live. The only way round that is to have a chip that can be switched on and off fitted. But still, mistakes do happen, and getting it back on live involves buying another Xbox. I don't think it is worth chipping. Stick with it as is.

I've never played DOA3 so I would'nt know.
But SC2 is just a bit crap. In my own opinion of course - Others might deem it great.

Play Dead or Alive 3 in Survival mode and you would think otherwise. Soul Calibur is balls.

I can't stand SC2. Over rated Tekken engine that really is the most over hyped game that I have ever played. Give me Tekken and Dead or Alive anyday.
In personal opinion - Soul Calibur 2 is just a load of balls.
