err hey all I have decided to buy and xbox....not that anyone would actually care heh.

anyway I was curious if it can play foreign games....U.S. basically

OR do the games come out basically the same all around?

The Xbox only plays PAL games (those released in Europe and Australia). It can be chipped to play US and Japanese games, but you'd be validating your warranty.

Get a UK one in the price drop along with Halo and Project Gotham. Then the double GTA pack, Knights of Old Republic, Dead or Alive 3 and Jet Set Radio are worth a biiiiiiiiig look. Then games like Amped, Max Payne, Munch's Oddysee, Mech Assault, Castle Wolfenstein, Midtown Madness 3 you may want to consider looking into before the big exclusive hitters start towards the end of this month and through to next April.

I'd take Soul Calibur 2 over Dead or Alive anyday.

I'm not a big fighting game fan, but Soul Calibur drops its load on DOA from a stupid height.

If ya wanna play US games you'll need to modify/chip your console.

Ya can either do it yourself - Or get it done for you.
