Whilst looking at all the mags on sale in ASDA yesterday I noticed that there was a free playable demo of Desert Storm II.

Im getting the PS2 version on the 19th but I was wondering what you lot thought of the demo seeing as the versions will be similar.

Hmm let me see. A good reason to attempt it is that you can attempt to complete a level in a different way also it prevents you from dying A LOT on higher difficulties.

Yes it wanted to be Halo but it was in Third person. Hmmmmmm.

The multiplayer easily rivals Halo in the single player, deathmatch and squad deathmatch.

But your mates don't like to play games do they? So I guess your experience of this was limited.

My attention span because I don't enjoy Morrowind and MGS2?

That's some funny sheet. I play games that I enjoy and are fun, Morrowind and MGS2 fell into neither of these categories.

Morrowind IN MY OPINION is one of the single most boring games ever created. After playing Splinter Cell, MGS2 for me was just big stinking pile.

Why would I want to when the best way was to just run in with your finger on the fire button? Hitman 2 rewards you for using stealth, there was absoloutly no point in attempting it in Brute Force.

The only thing it has in common with C:DS is that you have 4 people to control. As for Halo, it wanted to be it but it just couldn't hack it.

Nope.

Says the guy who can't appreciate MGS2 or Morrowind yet thinks Serious Sam is great. I'd be seriously worried about your attention span if I were you.

No you just did 'run and gun'. It's got varied missions an interesting array of characters and you can approach the missions in different ways playing with different characters.

It's got elements of Halo thrown in with some C:DS. Then damn games a fine piece of work.

Plus the multiplayer is excellent stuff, I'd like to see something like it in a C:DS game.

it looks amazing but when it comes

It's a soul less piece of utter guff.

My opinion changed from thinking it was okay when i first played it, too realising what a total piece of cliched garbage it was after a quite a long period of play.

I can do run and gun when it's actually good fun. Brute Force is a total case of style over content, it looks amazing but when it comes down to gameplay it falls down at the first hurdle.

Oh OBVIOUSLY I meant that, considering Bell hated Brute Force to start off with he clearly CAN see a good game from just a little early play.

However, Mav had ALREADY formed his opinion of the game before purchasing it.

Oh and he's wrong, that's my perfectly valid opinion.

You'd have thought that Bell's re-purchasing of Brute Force and discovery of the depth of play might have given you a hint that you were wrong.

Your opinion, Mav, is what is crap.
