.... please!

Just interested to know what games everyone has and what you think of em.

I'll go first :

Halo - Superb, brilliant, can't say a bad word about it. Roll on H2

Splinter Cell - Thoroughly enjoyed, one of the best games I've played in ages.

MGS2:Substance - Also superb, enjoyed it start to finish. would prefer that gimp raiden was replaced with snake though .....

PGR - One of the finest racers ever. Does it beat Gran Turismo? In some aspects yes, in the 'user-definable' category, no.

SSX Tricky - First snowboard game I've played and very good, very quick, fun to play, great music

Burnout 2 - Not exactly realistic in any way, but if it's arcade thrills you want, this is very good. The overall speed of the game and crashes make it exhilarating. Prefer PGR though.

FIFA 2003 - Very good football game, good fun on one player, but great fun on multiplayer.

Max Payne - A great game, played all the way through as soon as I got it. Ageing a bit I suppose, but still extremely good and one of my favourites.

Mech Assault - Good fun for a while, although the one player does get a little tedious. I need LIVE really to play it properly. Still, not bad.

Morrowind - Played for a few hours, couldn't really get into it. I realise it is a very detailed RPG of the highest quality, but it just didn't grab me. Maybe I'll get into it more in the future.

KOTOR - Very, very good. Welcome to the star wars universe, detailed, user definable, and with a great story. Haven't got far yet, but am enjoying it a lot.

Enter the Matrix - loved it when I got it, after several hours it quickly got repetitive though. Still, the fighting is very good, and I enjoyed all the FMV. Yet to finish.

Ok, that's all I got .....

Burnout 2: Point of Impact - 8/10.
Fantastic and very fast racer which is let down by being a tad on the easy side and too short lived. A lot of replay and multiplayer value, however.

Enter the Matrix - 6/10 (non-fans: 4/10).
Enjoyable, as the depth of combat is very impressive. Unfortunately, repetitive levels and frustrating gameplay stop it from being a solid game. Strictly for fans only.

Halo - 8/10.
An overrated, but highly recommended shooter that combines most of what is right about FPS into one game. Some very nice vehicles round off the package, which is let down by poor level design and minor gameplay flaws.

Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast - 8/10.
Deep, varied and huge FPS set in the Star Wars universe. The lightsabre dynamics are very impressive, and there are some very nice RPG elements. Flawed in areas, but very worthwhile.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - 10/10.
One of the finest games ever made, this is an immersive, freeform RPG set 4000 years before the first Star Wars film. It'll keep you going for ages, and it's brilliant in every aspect.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - 9/10.
In Morrowind, you can do almost whatever you want. Fight anyone, do anything (there's a range of professions) and build a name for yourself in a living breathing world. There's a main storyline, but the sub-quests rule this RPG masterpiece.

Midtown Madness 3 - 9/10:

Top quality online game, yeah its nothing special in single-player but multiplayer is arguably the best seen on Xbox so far, non-online fans i'd say 7/10.

WWE Raw - 7/10:

I picked this up for a Tenner earlier this week and for that price its not a bad game, i still find the graphics pretty darn good, dull combat at times though, i still need to try out the multiplayer modes!

Ghost Recon: Island Thunder - 8.5/10:

I hated the first one but i decided to pick this up for £8 using some credit up, i'm seriously glad i gave this game another go (Ghost Recon games), i didn't get into the first one when i had it, but this has got me hooked - i love co-op modes online and the single player is also pretty cool, solid game at a great price, highly recommended if its your thing!

Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic - 10/10:

Quite simply: I love this Game! And this is coming from someone who doesn't really like RPG games, this is another killer app for the Xbox and its also a game that will turn over many non-RPG/Star Wars fans and even get non Xbox owners drooling, it has nice graphics, a quality quest and who would say no to slicing up people with two light sabers, not me - buy it!

Halo - 9.8/10

Up there with my pesonal all time favourites. Not revolutionary but a solid FPS game that really does polish off all the tried and tes**ted methods of a FPS game and bundles them into one hell of a package. 13 completions later and I s**till enjoy playig it through.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - 9.79/10 ;)

Oh yes! After a long wait for another top exclusive title on the Xbox this little gem arrives! Check the related threads for my opinions :)

Splinter Cell - 8.6/10

For me an over rated game with some nice ideas. When I get LIVE I will be grabbing the extra levels however after completing on both Normal and Hard mode there isn't much else to interes**t me. Didn't las**t too long either.

Max Payne - 8.9/10

Finsihed on all game modes and Bullet Time s**till impresses me a lot. Like a fat man in a candy shop my eyes light up every time I press the L trigger or the white button. Not for everyone due to short and repetitive gameplay. For me though its a credit to John Woo's original conception and the sequel is highly anticipated :)

Project Gotham Racing - 9.4/10

Favourite racing game to date. Better than its predecessor and the gorgeous 360 Modena makes its debut on a home console. Can't wait for the second.

Jet Set Radio Future - 7/10

Over rated and difficult to judge. For me it tries to be too ambitious and I find it hard to sometimes unders**tand what it is trying to achieve. Got it for under £15 NEW and enhjoy playing it every now and again.

Dead or Alive 3 - 9.6/10

My favourite fighting game of all time. Limited s**tory mode is saved by an outs**tanding Survival mode.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer - 8/10

Like RalliSport I enjoyed this whils**t it las**ted. A great fight engine and a decent license from the TV show.

State of Emergency - 6/10

Ok for a couple of hours and after that I didn't touch it. Repetitive gameplay along with sub s**tandard graphics mar this title from being any worth shouting about.

Dead or Alive Extreme Beach Volleyball - 8.2/10

Good cheap fun. Its not a porn game, the real thing can be bought cheaper and with a purpose. DOAXBV is jus**t a decent volleyball game thats over looked due to the image given out by too many magazines.

Wakeboarding Unleashed - 7/10

Good simple fun. Tony Hawks on water without the images attatched to Skateboarding.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Subs**tance - 9.7/10

Watch it... play it... Love it or hate it the choice is yours. For me this is far more enjoyable than Splinter Cell from a cinematic point of view. Doesn't focus completely on s**tealth with foot s**teps etc but it does enough to make the game enjoyable without going over the top on the s**tealth point of view.

Amped: Frees**tyle Snowboarding - 9.3./10

Very under rated game. Las**ted 2 months to fully complete and it seriously did float my boat. For me one of the bes**t titles on the Xbox and one that is over looked by many as yet "another" snowboarding game. However its nothing like SSX as it is purely a trick simulation game with some seriously sh*t hot graphical effects and a superb game engine.

Rallisport Challenge - 8/10

Enjoyed it whils**t it las**ted but after that there is nothing to do. Very difficult game which cas**ts a different light on the rally genre which makes it more interes**ting for those who don't want the technical none sense of similar titles.

Shenmue 2X - 9.5/10

Not as good as the firs**t but being a fan of Shenmue games this is my second favourite game of all time. To really appreciate what is going on you need to play through and unders**tand the firs**t adventure. Definitley NOT for everyone but for me this is sex on a DVD. Absolute genius!

007 Nightfire - 4/10

Did you order some guff with that sir? Quite possibly the wors**t purchase I have made for my Xbox. It s**tarts of well and is damn enjoyable for about 10 minutes and then it jus**t goes downhil until it reaches Aus**trallia.

Mech Assault - 8.4/10

Enjoyed single player firs**t time through and am yet to have a bash on the LIVE mode but this will be a priority in the near future.

Guff Recon... I mean Ghos**t Recon - 5.8/10

Hated single player, terrible. LIVE play was average and a little co-op mode I did on LIVE was enjoyable enough to make me want to try it again.

And finally...

Conflict Desert Storm - 7.4/10

Still not sure whether its something to shout about. Its an enjoyable game that makes squad based combat a little interes**ting for those who don't want the one shot kills s**tyle of Ghos**t Recon. I will mos**t likely finish this off within the next few days and trade it in for Freedom Fighters which from what I have played is more enjoyable and the AI is leagues ahead.

That's called opinion menso.

I meant you literally suck at ranking, for example:

"State of Emergency - 6/10

Ok for a couple of hours and after that I didn't touch it. Repetitive gameplay along with sub standard graphics mar this title from being any worth shouting about."

What? You've basically said this game is a pile of sh|t and then given it 6 out of 10! A '6' in my book is a 'good' game, if I had written that about a game you could have expected it to score about 3/10.

I don't like multiplayer games yet the Xbox version heavily focus' on multiplayer. Is an above average game hense the 6/10 score. Its not hard to work out...
