<font colour=#888888 etc. Is there a way around this? I suppose I could just use CSS to list the languages into 4 columns but I've only attempted 2 columns before. Left and Right. These javascript layer tab things are quite popular at the moment, I'm going through the top 500 alexa sites and the vast majority are using one sort or another.

Well the bar graphs are quite easy once you have the results. If you've got a result expressed as a percentage of total votes you can do something as simple as
Just a div with a php variable setting the length of it.
The problem is that these polls that you can buy are worse in that they have far too many features. I just need a poll and bar graphs and I'm happy :)
It'll all be worth it in the end I promise :D
P.S With the results on a seperate page is fine, just not the voting bit. Maybe I should do a "Perl help" thread as I still dont want to make it index.php. If only we had perl programmers here :(

Ever noticed how some people are never satisfied? They always want more. :P
Well in that case, well done to Garin also, good job :)
Try hotscripts to see if they have a script that suites your needs.
And wow thank you very much, I appreciate that, especially as all I did was copy and past a few bits so Garin could see what the problem was. I'm very happy with my progress and it's looking a lot more professional compared to my other attempts. A few more weeks and it should be done :)
Thanks for the link Garin, looks very good, but don't think the results come in bar graphs do they? :(
Perhaps I should pay someone to do it for me :D
Machie, I haven't read the whole thread, but clicked on your link, and just wanted to say I like the layout you've put together. Very nicely done, good job.

You're welcome.

Yes, if only. :P Try starting here..
Pretty nice tutorial about polls
