Watched Death of a Salesman at 4am this morning. Very good it was too - read the play and absolutely adore it - but never seen it preformed before - which is really the only way a play should be presented to you. Gave bits of the play a whole different meaning and the 50's America bravado I loved in reading the play isn't really present at all. Took seeing the play in action for me to notice this.

Malcovich is rather good, Hoffman is something else.

Vottanator!

The scenes your describe are indeed from ScarFace.

I started watching Carlito's way once, I found it hard to get into, but I was really knackered at the time, I'l have to give it another go.

I've Donnie Brasco is good, but I haven't seen it before, so I'll have to watch it this evening.

Oh yeah, I forgot Donnie Braso as well. I think that's probably better than Scarface as well.

I'm making Scarface sound bad here aren't I? Well, I don't mea to. It's still a fantastic film although I don't like the end part where nobody can hit him with their guns.

YH, I would have to reccomend Carlito's Way and Heat. Both are better than Scarface in my opinion. Scarface is still brilliant though. I love the scene with the beaches painted on the wall. I can't remember it too well but I loved the bit at the end of the scene where Pacino looks down at some guy (who is expecting to be killed) and says, "You wanna a job?" or something along those lines.

In fact, come to think of it, is that even Scarface? I've not seen it in ages. Yeah, I think it is, but I might be wrong.

Anyway, I saw A.I. today. I'm not sure whether I liked it. I have posted a topic on it anyway, if you wanna read it.

Watched ScarFace.

What can I say?

Absolutely Fantastic!

Definately the best film I've seen with Al Pacino in, although I haven't seen all his films by any means.

Almost as good as Goodfellas and Casino, but not quite. I still rate those two as the best gangster films ever, and in my top 5 best films ever as well.

Well worth watching, for those that haven't seen it.
